What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
With a young son and dog to keep entertained, I enjoy getting outdoors to explore – and living in beautiful East Devon, I’m spoilt for choice! Sidmouth seafront, the Pebblebed Heaths or Haldon Forest are our favourites, but anywhere that we can get fresh air and a coffee or ice cream. I love a good documentary, have an eclectic taste in music, and try my best to stick to a regular schedule of Pilates classes.
Your top three favourite books?
Once Upon A River by Diane Setterfield.
The Martian by Andy Weir.
And any of Richard Osman’s ‘Thursday Murder Club’ series.
What piece of work are you most proud of?
When I joined Distinctive in 2023, The Forum development in Gloucester was still very much a construction site. Fast-forward to 2026 and it’s officially open and filling up fast with cyber and tech-related businesses. Being part of the largest regeneration project ever undertaken in the city has been hugely rewarding. Seeing the transformation in the city centre has been phenomenal.
Managing the PR and media relations, there have been many highlights, including hosting the BBC on-site as they covered the region’s reactions to the 2024 autumn budget statement, welcoming hundreds of guests to a business breakfast with Insider Media, and helping to fill up the development’s awards cabinet as it is recognised in regional business and prestigious property awards. I’m proud to have played a part in such a successful project.
